American Dad’s Roger Named Gayest Cartoon Character Of All Time

In the US each year, sports fans get sucked into the vortex known as March Madness, leaving us non-sports fans left out in the cold. The tournament pays homage to the cartoon characters that provided some of the first depictions of gay characters and gay sensibilities on TV.

Think about it. Decades before gay characters became a staple on primetime or portrayed by real-life actors, they were highly visible on Saturday morning and on animated shows. Since launching on March 18, the competition has been intense with some fan favourites being eliminated early including Scar The Lion KingPeppermint Patty Peanuts and Snagglepuss.
